Westfield House was recently honoured by a visit from former student, Rev, Dr David Coe. David is currently associated Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Concordia University, Nebraska.
Dr Coe kindly donated copies of his recent books; Kierkegaard and Luther (Fortress Academic Press, 2020) and Provoking Proverbs: Wisdom and the Ten Commandments (Concordia Publishing House, 2020).
During seminary at Concordia, St. Louis, I studied abroad for one academic year in 2003-4 and began my research on Kierkegaard’s relationship to Luther at Cambridge under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Ronald Feuerhahn. This research ended with my PhD dissertation in 2011, and the work was published as a book, Kierkegaard and Luther, by Fortress Academic Press in 2020.
