Westfield House is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Yates as Study Abroad Coordinator. This is a new position, created jointly with Valparaiso University, to provide support for our Study Abroad programme and students. As Study Abroad Coordinator, Caroline will play an important role in ensuring that Valparaiso University and Westfield House Study Abroad students enjoy an outstanding experience during their time in Cambridge, helping to foster community life amongst the students, ensuring students understand and comply with the Westfield House regulations and policies, facilitating communication between students and Westfield House and the faculty of the students’ home institutions so that each student has an appropriate programme of study that will transfer back as expected to their home institution.
Caroline is an experienced study abroad professional, having worked with study abroad programmes (including Valparaiso) at both Cambridge and Anglian Ruskin Universities. She is passionate about working with young people and enjoys getting to know the students and watching them flourish. We anticipate that Caroline will bring a fresh perspective to the Westfield and Valparaiso Study Abroad programmes, helping them to develop and grow to the benefit of the students and our institutions. We look forward to welcoming Caroline when she begins on 25th April.
