Coronavirus

Westfield House is operating under the Cambridge Theological Federation’s policy, which is to follow the advice provided by the University of Cambridge at https://www.cam.ac.uk/notices/news/coronavirus-latest-guidance. It should be noted that some of the advice to “University staff, students and departments” is specific to the University of Cambridge and questions about this should be directed to the Westfield House Principal or Preceptor.

Go to NHS.UK/coronavirus for information about the virus and how to protect yourself. We ask all staff, students and visitors to Westfield House to follow the handwashing and basic hygiene advice.

If staff or students experience a high temperature and/or a new continuous cough, they must notify Westfield and follow the UK government’s ‘Stay at home‘ guidance. Westfield House has facilities for students who need to self-isolate and will ensure they receive appropriate care. Staff will self-isolate at home.

If staff or students need medical advice, they should consult the UK government website, which is updated regularly, before calling the NHS on 111, unless it is a medical emergency. Westfield House tutors and/or ELCE pastors will be available for pastoral care for staff and students.
